Default So long fellas!

It has been said that all people bring happiness...some by arriving, and others by leaving. I wanted to say thanks to those who have truly supported my short stay here. I had a great amount of excitement and fun while it lasted. Best of luck to all of you, and may your dream card be right around the next corner!!!

Phil

Default I'll believe it when I see it

A) Anyone want to start a poll on how long it will take for the "I'm free to change my mind" / "I'm returning again" posts will be made?

B) Is it really a goodbye thread if the original poster keeps logging on to see how the Net54 community responds to his goodbye? What if he makes posts in this thread after saying goodbye?

C) If your greatest contribution to this Board is creating arguments then you really ought to stop posting.

D) Totally agree -- when you leave, no need to say goodbye; just stop posting. Just remember -- 99% of the Board won't miss 99% of us when we stop posting. If you post a goodbye thread it is because you think someone will care.

I lurk on this forum most of the time, and have stayed away from all the drama on some of these threads, at first I got some laughs, then after a while it was like a train wreck. I knew what was coming but couldn't stop reading, and lately it's like a bad episode of Jersey Shore , I just want it to be over , so I can only hope this thread is locked and all of us just move on.

Wow, I didn't know you were here. Well you know where to find us when you start posting again next week...or later on tonight.

Seinfeld has nothing on this board. If Leon had any business sense he would take all the threads, hire a writer or two, make a pilot and 20 years later we could watch the finale. Emmy award winner for sure.

Well, birthdays are merely symbolic of how another year has gone by and
how little we've grown. No matter how desperate we are that someday a better
self will emerge, with each flicker of the candles on the cake, we know it's not
to be, that for the rest of our sad, wretched pathetic lives, this is who we are
to the bitter end. Inevitably, irrevocably; happy birthday? No such thing.

To be fair, to Favre, I really do think it was his love for the game that brought him back the first time or two. He genuinely loves the sport.

You are talking like your departure will be voluntary. I think that's called assuming facts not in evidence.
