Default What are the reputable game used auction houses

As my educational journey into game used bats continues, I’ve started to browse auction houses and the game used bats being offered up for auction to help further educate myself. I was curious as to what are some of the reputable game used auction houses.

I know of:
Lelands
Mears
Grey Flannel Auctions

Are there any others out there?

Hunts
SCP
Huggins and Scott
Legendary (yes, they have other issues, but still offer high quality/authentic game-used items)

CollectAuctions seems to do as well as anybody with this type of material and I have complete trust in principal Steve Bloedow's integrity.

There is also Heritage Auctions.

With any auction house, you will want to undertake your own diligence. I scour the internet to see if the item has been offered before, and do my best to try to photo or style match items. I've seen a lot of questionable items. I don't think it's anything intentional with any of the auction houses listed above. It's just that they can only dedicate so much time to each piece they bring in.

My personal favorites are REA (Robert Edward Auctions) and SCP. I am also very impressed with Goldin.

I agree with Esquire. Take the time to get the few good books out there and form you own opinion. Be careful of sneaky wording . A pro model bat isn't always used by the players name that appears on the bat

I would also suggest getting in contact with and getting to know as many bat collectors as you can. Overall, I think the bat collecting community is a pretty close knit group and there are people out there that are always willing to answer questions.
