Default Collector's Insurance

Posted By: T206Collector

There was a post a while back about good insurance companies to protect baseball card collections from theft, fire, flood, etc. Can someone refresh my recollection and give me a good example? Anyone with good personal experiences with collector's insurance?

Thanks!

Not sure where the post is, but what I took from it is that Chubb was a great way to insure your cards. www.chubb.com

Default Collector's Insurance

I purchased my insurance through these folks. I think their rates are very reasonable, but I've never had a claim (thankfully), so I don't know how they respond when you need them.

I remember looking up the name of the insurance company that ultimately stands behind their policies, but I can't seem to find them on the website anymore. I do remember that the underlying insurer appeared to be a legitimate company that specialized in insuring art collections.
