Pinback Display Question

Recently got interested in pinbacks (and matchcovers) and was wondering how you guys display them or store them. Does anybody know of anybody that makes something for this purpose? Also, are there any books/reference materials devoted to vintage sports pinbacks? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm also interested in reading what others use to store/display pinbacks.

Currently using Riker mount cases and Lindner collection boxes.

I have received some pins in those Riker cases. They seem to work well...

I know these are not vintage, but they do work well for pins...btw these Saltdog pins are sold by the fan club and they told me they make only 10 of each player...so it will be near impossible in the future for someone to put a complete set together. My 2007 set is complete, but I am missing one pin from my 2008 set because the kid's mother bought every single pin before I could get one.

I have been collecting baseball pinback buttons for 30 years,and have aquired some of the rarest pins in the hobby.
I found great way years ago to display my pin collection so i can enjoy it on a daily basis,it requires someone in my case my brother-in-law who is a wood worker to make a nice looking shadow box case out of fine cherry wood or whatever you chose.
Also entry into case is better from front by a hinged door,although my first two cases are only entered by taking off srews on back to get to the stretched felt the pins are attached to.
This method of display has brought me many hours of enjoyment of my collection without having it tucked away in some box.

The most complete book I've found so far for baseball (only) is by Paul Muchinski. It's a large coffee-table type book which runs around $80. The title is simply "Baseball Pinbacks" --if I remember correctly.
If you can't locate it, email me or leave a message here and I'll watch for it. Then I'll get the ISBN number off my copy for you.

I like the shadow box approach for viewing frequently. This is actually a table with a hinged lid.

Thanks Turner. I need to take a new photo. I've changed/added quite a bit. Love those pinbacks, but I am going in so many collecting directions (i.e. pennants, figurals, pins, and equipment) that I havn't been able to focus resources into them as much as I would like.
