Default Vintage Baseball Autographs questions

Hi-
I recently acquired the autographs scanned below and I had a couple of questions regarding them.
1. Is the Frank Grube in the first scan touched up after the fact? The shading of some of the letters appear to be filled in, and I cannot tell if it was done by Frank or someone else after he signed it.
2. Is it typical for Buzz Arlett (the minor league Babe Ruth) to sign with Buzz as opposed to his real first name?
3. Any opinions on authenticity? I found these in a small envelope buried in an ephemera box at a local flea market. I can only guess that there was some star players in an autograph book and someone decided to cut out the common players to more easily sell the stars. Or, these were meant for a scrapbook that never materialized. Consdering I only paid 4.00 for the envelope, as long as one of the autographs is real, I think it was a good purchase.
4. The third and fourth scans show a letter with interesting baseball content (quotes from Ty Cobb and Bill Klem). Does anyone recognize the names H Binney or John H Rogers? I tried searching Baseball reference. com but there wasn't any exact matches. Perhaps these two only played college ball together but I figured I would see if anyone was familiar with either of these people.
Thanks in advance,

1. Looks great, not touched up. I have never seen a calligraphic version of his signature, but it sure is nice.

2. Always.

3. Fine.

4. No clue.
