Default D&M bat question

I have this D&M bat that I don't know much about. I was told by a fellow collector that its pretty rare. I know that its probably from the early 1900s. I would really appreciate any info and value on this bat.

Thanks in advance!!

I'll take a stab at it... Assuming no cracks, deadwood or major chips, I would value this one around $525 - $600 (maybe more...) It is quite desirable because of the oblong knob... very similar to the Piper Bat that Matt posted a day or two ago.

The logo looks great as well... just a beautiful example.

That is a real nice bat. D&M's are pretty rare with any non standard knob. I'd agree with Mark on the value, maybe even a little more.

Thanks guys! I've had this in my collection for over a year without knowing its worth. It really helps out a lot just in case I decide to move it.

Carlton -
How are you??? Great to hear from you. We now have less than 1000 bats left - started with 1506... Making lots of progress but nothing in the batch looked like this beauty. Will I see you in Cleveland?

Default Yes on Cleveland!

Chris, Doing great thanks...Wow 500 bats sold, they're selling pretty quick, nice going. Yes, Lord willing I'll see you in Cleveland...got my ticket and everything all arranged. Cleveland has traditionally been a good town for the National, so should hold true. Good to hear from you.

Yeah I see what you mean on this D&M, very nice, I'm just wondering what the length is?

-Carlton
