Default Ebay question

If you set your best offers to automatically reject offers under a certain amount, does Ebay let you know when someone makes an offer under that amount?

No they do not and I don't understand why eBay won't do it.

My guess anyway.

if you check your listing daily it will show any declined offers if any and the amount they offered , you can see who made an offer and even send them them a message

Thanks,

Jeff

I believe in "messages". But those expire very quickly

I just checked again and I do not see what David is talking about. There is no setting that shows declined offers (that I can find). The only way to see offers that were declined is to go into each individual item. After an offer is automatically declined, the column offer resets to 0.

I hope that I am wrong...hopefully David will post again.

Thanks,

Jeff

I don't see it either. I went and revised my few listings and removed the automatic decline, 10 minutes later someone made a $100 offer on a $800 item

I got a $150 offer on a $1675 item. I wrote a somewhat nasty reply and ebay apparently censored it, it never showed up in my sent messages, and the guy never got it.
