Default Rogers Hornsby Bat question

I have a bat, center reads

HILLERICH & BRADSBY CO
MADE IN USA
H & B
NO 9
LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY

Top of bat reads

LEADER
ROGERS HORNSBY (In block print) MODEL

Bottom has the "Hornsby Knob" and the tape looks like maybe someone tried to emulate what I've read about his handle tape job, but I am assuming this is a store model bat.

I can post pictures shortly and any other info that anyone might need to help me out.

Thanks in advance!

OK, kept researching and found out it's a 1932 - 1952 Store Model.

Great reference site here:

Not on value, couldn't find any sales, or even asking prices.

Anyone else? lol.

Seriously though thanks. I didn't think it was a big deal but I did think it was a little bigger deal than that. Appreciate the help!
