Default 1919 W514 Mother's Bread Cards

Im thinking of branching out and expanding my w514 collection. I have seen a few Mother's bread variations and am curious if this is something that I should pursue or are their too few known to exist to even bother?

Looking for opinions from the experts.

P.s. I've even heard there is a horizontal advertising letter version on the back of w514 for Mothers Bread which I've never seen.

Thanks for chiming in.

Brian

Brian,

I am by no means an expert however, at one point I did own the Buck Weaver
W514 Mothers Bread card. In all of my years collecting it was THE ONLY W514
Mother's Bread back I've ever run across. Perhaps others on the board own or
have seen others, but I'd have to say this back is a difficult rarity and will be a
near impossibility to collect or locate.

I saw a hoard of them recently but believe they are probably reprints (not positive)....Otherwise, I might have seen the one Erik showed, the Buck Weaver and maybe one more card with that stamp. At any rate, except for type collectors, I don't see collectors swarming to them (it). Too rare for their own good.....which was the story of my first collection. I don't think I had one in my 1st collection and doubt I will in my 2nd one.

I figured as much but wanted to hear from others. I heard about a recent hoard as well but wasn't sure of their Authenticity. Maybe if they are real and are sold at auction I can start my collection!

Thanks for your input

Brian
