Default Mystery Maris

Wondering if anyone has any idea what the origin of these photos are. They are made of thin cardboard with a blue and white border around the bottom. The back is a light yellow color and blank. They appear to have been possibly cut from something larger but I don't know for certain. Wondering if it could be from a large Post Cereal display as both players had great 1961 seasons.

I would guess you are right - these are the same two photos used for their cards for the 1962 Post cereal set. Pretty cool regardless!''

I am wondering if it could have been from a store display like Bob has shown in this blog entry -

Thanks,

Hi Fred...

They're about 7" across by just over 9" high. The backs, as I mentioned, are light yellow and the finish is somewhat glossy, like a cardboard poster.
