Nothing personal, just curious, but why are y'all just looking for second best?

To be techical, "penultimate" actually doesn't even mean second best. It means "next to last". This isnt the first time this has been pointed out to Bruce, but he seems to like using the word regardless of its meaning.

To keep this thread on point - I unfortunately dont have any cards that you seek currently for sale.

he has insulted everybody on the board at one point or another. Jeff, everybody rags on Bruce-- why call me out?

Sorry, allow me to add: Bruce, alas I have no cards, ultimate, penultimate, or otherwise, from your list.

Tim, I simply called you out because it's one thing to tease Bruce but another to insult him -- especially in his thread on the BST -- when he didn't exactly have it coming to him.

Jeff,

Misuse of the English language insults Tim. He's an English Professor.

Based on recent posts on the main board, the MB3 collection may soon be hitting the market. Lots of whilst-worthy high grade examples there, though I get the sense that strict confidentiality may not be the MB3sters forte.

Rob is right

Bruce, I'm a little surprised you are still going for the penultimate cards. From what you say, I gather you seek the very finest items available-- aren't you ready for the challenge of the antepenultimate Want List by now?

One of the cards on Bruce's wantlist will be in our next auction, perhaps a boardmember could win it and take Bruce up on his buy offer.

I wish I could help with the wantlists, but I get so confused by those big words that I just take a nap instead.
