Could folks please explain the mastronet auctions? Have you had good expeirences? Been pleased with your items? Prices seem to be inflated.

They have nice stuff and are good people to deal with. As far as prices go, don't bid more than you want to in any auction with anyone and you won't have to complain about the "high prices". It seems like a pretty simple equation.

Have known Bill Mastro for years, standup guy and knows his stuff. They get the high prices because they get some of the best stuff and collectors trust them.

I have bought cards in the last three MastroNet auctions. Just when you think you will never be able to find a certain card, MastroNet will have it in one of their auctions. I was just looking at a partial list of items coming up in their December auction. The stuff is so good, I won't be able to aford it.

To answer your question more directly, I would recommend them very highly.

..and if ALL the prices are too high, wait for as Collectors' Auction--also Mastronet--they're a bit lower.

One bid, $900, SGC 10, carpenter's writing all over the back. Last N172 I'll ever buy...;nice one.

On the other hand Rob Lifson is a lot funnier than Bill Mastro. Which is why...etc.

I went last night and didn't see one either. Must not be up yet. The only thing I have so far is the auctionreport.com release.

That's the best list, but if you are more visual, look inside the front cover of the SMR.
