Default Cobb

I currently don't have anything, but would love to see what Ty Cobb memorabilia anyone has.

Also, anyone's sole or main focus Cobb?

That green Cobb and the glove are outstanding. I've always been a fan of Cobb since I first started studying baseball as a boy. I found out that Cobb came to the field I played on here in Waxahachie for Spring Training and since then I've been hooked.

This is probably not the intended direction of the thread (modern manufactured stuff) but here's a neat piece by Kreindler that I commissioned and received last month.

I want to incorporate the small painting into a shadowbox display with my signed ball. The ball displays kind of like a single but it actually has 3 other graphs on it as well including Black Sox manager Kid Gleason. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to afford a Cobb that bold from that era if it was single signed.

Postcard given at opening day of Navin Field, 1912, and mailed 2 days later from someone that went to the game...

have a few Cobb items, by far my favorite baseball player to read about. Cobb had an amazing baseball career as well as being a very wise investor after baseball. I would encourage everyone who like old baseball players to read some books about him. Very facinating person indeed.

Default 1905 Newspaper Welcoming Rookie Cobb

Here's a 1905 Detroit News that includes a small item "Cobb Is Here" welcoming The Peach to Detroit. I've had it professionaly framed with a couple of reprinted photos. A sweet item that I'm offering for sale, if any Cobb fans are interested.

Default Cobb

My Ty collection pales in comparison to the others in this thread, but I'm pretty grateful and content to have the items that I do...

Autograph has been framed and matted with an original colored pencil sketch (Scott silvers) of the first Cobb t206 that I owned...

Good thread Paul.

I've collected VINTAGE Ty Cobb items for the last ten years. This great painting by Graig Kreindler of Ty Cobb is my prized possession.

Sayheykid54,

Is that his home run trot? Just wondering from the stance of the third baseman, doesn't appear to be an action play around him so wondering if Cobb pounded it out of the park and was in his home run trot?

Great painting,

Mike

Here's a couple more of mine.
