I forgot to add pictures of George Willis Hudlin, Joe vosmick on an old picture print, newspaper cutout of an article titled "meet you four new cleveland indians" "Ab Wright, Roy Hughes, Bruce Campbell, and Boze Berger" it has photos of all four, and a coupple of thers I just can't find them in the book at the moment.

How much money would you ask for this collection of signatures + the book?

The book is worth no less than $150

Also the signatures on the end papers, I can't read some of them or they are not on google.

I know one is Hal Metzger and another is Tom Manning

Default Tom Manning of NBC radio

In the 1930's the Cleveland Indians home games were on the NBC radio affiliate ; great piece of Cleveland history you have there.

...there is a section of these forums devoted to memorabilia and autographs and the guys over there will be glad to help you with any questions.

...look up at the top of the main page and click...

thanks for letting us look at that ; great find, welcome to 54...

In my mind Tom Manning is the real gem in the collection. I still do not know the identity of at least 1/2 of the signatures on the end paper though.

I know Walter Johnson may be the most sought after in the collection but the collection as a whole is far more interesting.

A little history about Tom Manning:

Tom Manning was born in Cleveland on September 11, 1899. Manning played semi-pro baseball with the national champion Telling's team in 1917 and managed Bauer Meat to championships in 1923, 1924 and 1925. He became the first radio voice of the Cleveland Indians in 1928 and broadcast the World Series from 1929 to 1938. He broadcast the first eight All-Star Games starting in 1933 and the initial Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Cooperstown, New York in 1939. He teamed with Jimmy Dudley on Indians' radio broadcasts in 1956 and remained the "Dean of American Sportscasting" until his retirement on December 25, 1967.
