Is there is a number marked out or is there a variation like this?

Do you own the card? Being able to examine the card up close will be able to tell you a lot.

I love pinatas. You get to beat the crap of something and get rewarded with candy.

Can you scan the back at 400 dpi and then crop out the area in question. You'll be able to see so much more by creating a hi-res scan.

Wow, this is actually a card I am selling in a small HOF lot now. Had to run and get the card for closer inspection but unfortunately I think the 1 is just missing as I believe it is a regular 150 series. While the back does not appear to be damaged it is a little rough in that area, just not quite smooth enough to believe it is a genuine printing error either. Not a bad PSA 2 though.

with the crease and stain I would guess PSA missed the back issue (I did). Very nice Keeler though... Welcome back Jay!

From the scan you've provided, it appears that a slight abrasion to the back has removed the first didgit of "150". It would be a card with slight back damage, not a rarity.

Wow. You can hardly tell. Amazing if it was by accident. If not, imagine what you could do with pencil marks
