Default Anyone know the value of a 1919 t213-3 Gandil?

Haven't ever really seen this card made available so I couldn't find any previous examples. Nice looking card though, probably a GD/VG card with a wrinkle in the upper left corner. Thanks in advance for the advice,

Brian

Default wavy cut

Hey Brian
I will SWAG a guess. Even though the -3s are thinner that one looks quite wavy. Also their demand, to me, certainly doesn't correlate to their value. All that being said I will guess it's a $100-$200 card.....that's my guess.

Brian - I would say around $75-$150ish... (around Leon's range)

Id say around $200, the "hand cut" cut hurts the value a bit...

the Chicago AL caption and being from 1919 gives it some nice demand though.

I like it $200 worth.

As Frank said, the issue date with the chicago on there is pretty darn cool.

Did a bit of research on it. There were VERY FEW card sets actually released in 1919 to begin with. Out of the few I found (ie...1919 Zeenuts, w552s, etc...), the t213-3 set was the only one that had Gandil in it. So unless I'm mistaken, there aren't any other cards depicting Gandil in 1919, the actual year of the Blacksox scandal.

Even within the set, it seems like it's a pretty tough card. Can't remember another one coming up for sale and SGC has only graded 4 of them.

Default Gandil

Tough set, tough player within the set, but in that condition I'm thinking in the $150 range.
