Two new additions to my T206 Highlander set. The Demmitt
seems to be oversized side to side.

At least Leon's starting with an easy set with Mothers.

And here's what it replaced...

Great pick-ups!!! I really wanted the Delahanty but could not go beyond my means ($4K) and thus was not even close.

Here are the two cards I won in Mastro...............

Ebob,

It's too bad we had to compete against each other on that lobert, but I had to take a shot. It looks like you have em all now huh?

Phil:

That Delahanty was purchased privately. The one in Mastro had a nicer image, but I am happy to have one.

Rob- I understand. I was looking over my shoulder for Alan and Donald and never thought you might be bidding. Yes, I no longer need any e94 Loberts (unless someone comes up with a rare orange background).
tbob aka ebob aka tboob (hope that last one was a misstype!)

Off the BST - bought as a needed card for the set but sent it in for authentication on a whim and pleased to see it come back authentic.

Just another reason why I love t207's: Here's Scanlon, shown on card with a team he refused to report to (<---------dangling participle). Why? He didn't want to leave his Brooklyn medical practice (1911 was his last year).

Just picked up my fiftith T-206. Here it is below.

I've only been collecting prewar for about a year, so if I collect 50 more each year I should complete the journey about the time I retire.

Best wishes,

Joe

Nice one, Joe. And just think, that upon retirement you can dismantle the set and begin another one!

Ya'll posted some VERY nice cards above!

This card is the "most expensive" in my collection now.

Thanks, SGC, for grading it a "2" so I could afford it. It looks like at least a 3 in my opinion. I've seen much worse 2's on ebay in the past year ...

Rob

Picked up Gibson from a board member in an even Steven trade.....it can still be done!! Already had the best looking SGC10 in existence, Bender...I think I should argue for a 20 (that's for another thread though) regards

Leon, what's wrong with the Bender for it to get such a low grade?

Don't want to bump this thread too much but the Bender has some chipping on the back of it..on the right hand side.
