I used to use photobucket until they went nuts wanting to charge people $400 a year for 3rd party hosting. Since then I moved most of my photos over to Flickr.
Flickr allows for bulk uploading and lots of tags and a description on each photo. It has privacy settings that are customizable, so you control what is seen and by whom. It also has a nice look to it. And it is free. The only downside that I see is that it does not allow you to create links to multiple photos at one time. All this means is that it takes longer to post multiple photos to forums and such. https://www.flickr.com/photos/96571220@N08/albums
