Default T206's Lot or Individual?

Posted By: Nick G

I was considering listing some T206's on ebay. All are commons (no rare backs or southern leaguers, etc)and they grade in the Pr-Gd range.

What im wondering is how to sell them. It appears that in a lot (say a lot of 50) they will sell in the $13 each range. Does anyone have any experience what i might get if i sell them individually? for an extra buck or 2 its not worth my time to scan and list them individually, but if i could average $20 across the board, i might.

So im hoping someone w some T206 experience can help me

Thanks

Nick

Hi Nick,

Your best bet may be to list them in the BST section of this board. Low grade T206 commons sell quite well on the BST because many board members are attempting to build sets. I buy quite a few T206's and T205's from board members and I have never been disappointed. The nice thing about it is that there are no fees for the BST, unless you accept PayPal. Everyone that I have dealt with has been trustworthy, so you don't have to worry about some of the deadbeats that you find on ebay.

Good luck,

Rick

I agree...try the bst first...you'll most likely save some $$$$ and you'll help out a fellow board member as well.

Rick and Peter:

I appreciate the help but i have like 100 of them and while i love the BST board its likely that i will sell 2 here , 5 there, etc and im looking for a quicker route.

I do have about 20 HOFers that i might list that way (because they are worth a little more.

I still agree that there are lots of people looking for lots of t206's in lesser condition. You have nothing to lose by listing the cards with a price you can be happy with...before going to ebay. Sell all of the hof'ers in 1 lot..and the commons in another!

From my experience here...lots of t206's in lower grade...fairly priced will sell quickly!

Nick--I've had some luck on selling them on Ebay in smaller lots...4-6 cards per lot..
