Ebay really needs to crack down on this type of activity. He obviously is not trying to deceive anyone; but is marketing his crap to individuals who probably will attempt to sell them as originals. He even has Colgan's fakes.

He states them as reprints so Ebay can not take them down, i guess its the buyers of these that you have to watch out for.

I've actually started saving images of some of his reprints in a folder on my laptop, so I'll have a reference point when these same reprints inevitably show up again in other sellers' auctions. His T206 reprints are obvious, but some of the others concern me.

I'm so tired of this crap being on the vintage pre-1930 area. Ebay can't take him off because he does state that they are reprints, but they should be in a different category. They should not be in the the pre 1930 category. They were made in 2008! They shoud be with the modern shiny stuff. I wish they would get that junk off of there!

What ebay needs to do is create a reprint categorey. If it's in the other categoreys and it's a reprint then it should be removed from the categorey. ebay wont do it...

LOL! Anyone happen to notice who the buyer was on the Plank relisting that Frank posted (second link)?

Too funny. Well, how was the card? As expected?

The scary part is the cards are in low grade, typical of what one may find, so reselling these are far easier than trying to sell a vintage mint card
These are all destined to be resold on Craigslist etc
Even though the seller is totall upfront in his listing these cards will eventually be sold to novices for big $$$
& of course Ebay could care less about that fact

Not "all". The Plank is in safe hands. At least that one won't see the light of day again.

it would be so easy to clean up this crap on ebay....just have a reprint section and these dopes who sell this garbage are out of work. well not out of work as i'm sure they'll list them somewhere, but at least out of my sight.

with this afternoon's additions, I believe there are currently more reprints in the pre-1930s section then real raw cards.
