Default t213-3 double overprint?

I am pretty sure this is the only known factory 8 double print known to exist. Would be happy to be proven wrong...pretty neat error card albeit in a set that does not command much attention.

Scan may be a bit fuzzy again, but somehow there is a clean factory 8 o/p in the middle of the card...card is graded an SGC 10 b/c of the paper loss spot on the front, otherwise its in pretty nice shape.

And who knew lipstick was a manly thing back in the day?!

The scan is a bit blurry, but it looks like 3-4 overprints. 3 overlapped near the bottom and one upside down in the middle.

Pretty cool.

Yeah, there is supposed to be one at the bottom, it does look like it got doubled up...but the true oddity is having an o/p in the middle of the card.

I need to take a scanning course...

Looks fishy to me, probably fake. You should get rid of it and sell it to me (as soon as my power comes back on).

Rob - That's a fantastic triple stamp with the one in the middle of the card upside down to boot.

The really red lips on Chase is the result of a different red layer than was used with any of the other Coupon series or T206's. Here's a couple Herzog's that show the difference well. Great card.

I can host it on my personal website, then make it bigger on the board, if a big scan can be sent to me...

edited to add....scan was sent to me but it is still blurry. A new scan will have to be made to get it to be less blurry.

You probably can feel safe calling it "rare" when the time comes.

Default T213-3

Here are a Johnson and Chance from the regular T213-3 series. I don't know much about the overstrike ones, but that is certainly different looking from what I have seen. Perhaps an individual advertiser corrected it in the period. Don't know.t2133f.jpg

Thought I should bump this up to the top.

What has become of this card?
