I see allot of these threads that call everyone to show cards and I see allot of good looking cards. I would like to see some ugly. What are your favorite beaters?

I post this way too much, but it is easily my favorite beater and it fits the thread.

It's got about every technical flaw.

This is honestly the coolest card I've seen on this board. Don't you have the E107 Plank, Young and a few others too?

Richard,

Nope, the creases are exactly as shown on there. Thought about cracking it out and sending it back in, but I love the card and, like the Cincinnati Wagner, don't want to let it out of my sight

Give some consideration to ACA, then. Not only might you qualify for a grade bump, but if that's also an unreleased version of the card, they'll know!

Richard.

I've shown this before, but its my favorite beater because it's likely one of the rarest cards I own. I was offered this card many years ago because I ain't too picky about condition and the dealer just couldn't find it in his heart to throw it away, but also couldn't find a buyer

I know I'm fully in pre-war violation by a few years, but I remember finding ol' Lou here about 17 years ago around my 20th birthday. I really felt he was the gem of my collection and showed him off to the family like a prize horse. I was strictly a modern guy till he showed up and he changed everything for the better as far my collecting went. I still love him beat up and all and he's going nowhere anytime soon.

These three were sewn into something at some point. There is still some thread in the cards.

Thanks,

Hard to pick just one, but I settled on this. My first T206, Polar Bear back.
And yes, the entire upper left corner is nearly off along the crease that edges into his head. if not for the tape it would probably have come off by now.

Also in the running - 69 Jackson rookie -my first card. and a T206 red cobb Carolina Brights.
