Default Howe McCormack Back Stamps

Posted By: James Feagin

It seems that Mr. Howe McCormack of Florida was a very prominent early collector. I've seen his stamps on hundreds of T206 cards. Just today, I also found a McCormack back stamp on the reverse of an E98 that was consigned to us. Are there any other designations that his stamp has been found on? Does anyone know anything about this person?

James

Ed McCollum of N54 collects his stamp on 206s and knows quite a bit.
I recently traded him my one and only Howe.

best,
barry

Up to this point I've only seen his stamps on T206 cards. The fact I saw one on the reverse of an E98 card leads me to believe that Mr. McCormack was a diverse and serious very early collector as he had both "T" and "E" cards in his collection.
