Default Trimmed?

Posted By: Pete Z.

The card came from a horde of t206s that included a bunch of slers. I seem to recall a discussion I had with an SGC grader that some allowance (for funny cuts) is given to slers. PSA rejected it. Opinion on chances for a number grade from SGC.

Thanks

Top border is wavy, probably trimmed. Right border maybe.

Yes, it is. But ever so slightly.

In looking at the back, the bottom left corner looks dinged, then trimmed, in addition to the posts above. I think it is still a desirable card, though.

hi- no dice, sorry. definitely a funny cut.

i just recently sent my T206 Broad Leaf 460 to PSA, the top looked very similiar to yours (mine alittle more so), i asked them IF it did not meet the requirements for a numerical grade, if they could slab it "authentic"? they did...it is on a case by case basis (PSA is much stricter than SGC, as far as slabbing cards "authentic"), and it has to be a "special" card, which, apperantly, a Broad Leaf 460 qualifies...

not sure if they would do the same for you, but give it a try...good luck.

MS

SGC will definetly grade it as Authentic, there is a good market for "A" graded cards as i have bought and sold some. PSA is losing business if they want to be picky about authentic grades, but they dont mind taking the fees to not holder it.
