Default O/T-Scans Needed for Old Cardboard Article

Posted By: Dave Hornish

Hey All:

Sorry for an o/t post but this is the best place I can think of for it. Part 2 of my 1950's Topps set survey, covering oddball issues, will be in the Fall issue of Old Cardboard. I spoke with Lyman on Sunday and he still needs a few scans to appear with the article. Good quality scans of the following are needed as I do not have these in my collection:

1949 Willard Mullin Cartoons (R414-1)- ACC describes these as 2" x 2 7/8" gum wrappers which I believe feature cartoons first appearing in the Spalding Sports Show promo magazine.

1955 Topps Baseball Stamps - Bob Lemke wrote about these from time to time. They resemble 55 Topps cards and are gummed on the back. At least one side of each stamp is perforated.

circa 1956 Bazooka Joe Big League Emblems - They were advertised on paper inserts in Topps packs that year and maybe even 1957. Believed to be smaller than the 5 inch or so diameter 1958 issue. The 1956 emblems should NOT state "My Favorite Team".

Thank you in advance,

Dave
