The maps are rip-offs also, especially since he frequently lies about their age, but at least the buyer is getting something they can frame and hang on their wall that they couldn't afford otherwise (not that I condone it).

But in the case of the "rare 1909 Spalding", etc., you can buy a beat-up 1909 guide with all the photos in great shape, for under $75, complete with 500+ "cards". This makes the buyers just plain stupid. If you were going to pay over $100 for a "1909 Reach Wagner", wouldn't you want to know what "1909 Reach" meant before you started bidding? Roy Huff is preying on idiots.
