Default T215 Red Cross Huggins...whats the deal?

Posted By: Dave F

I thought the Red Cross cards went for a bit more. Funny, this one it seems I've seen on the board here a few different times exchanging hands. Why is it nobody has tried to get this card graded before selling it? Or have they? Is the thought it is just too worn to even grade a 10? Just seemed like a low ending price to me.

I agree, but maybe the back damage accounts for the price. The card differs from more common cards only by the back, so the back may take on special importance to collectors.

Paul is correct. If you are buying a fairly common pose for the back and tha back has major issues....it will hold the price down. No doubt a common in vg with a clean back goes for multiples of that.....regadrs

I would still imagine if this card could get into a 1 holder it could bring $300?

I think it would grade a 1/10 and sold for a decent price (I was thinking around $110 (my bid)). I would guess you could sell it for $200 tops.

The real value of the card is the back and there was too much missing for me to go any higher.

You had me beat Sean. I was at $96 and change...it never even went in as the bids went up in those last few seconds pretty fast.
