Default I've Lost My F____ Head

"Floating" Head of course....Bishop's E99 that is....

One salvaged from Collection I for your viewing pleasure. And if anyone wants to show another E99 it/they would be cool to see. They aren't conversed about too much.

Default headline

Didn't a headline writer sneak by "Krapp squeezes out of tight situation" or some similar Headline about pitching?? I'd love to find that paper.

That was the first good laugh I've had today. Thank you Raymond, I needed that.

I find it reassuring that there are others on this board with a sense of humor that is as juvenile as my own.

To get us back on topic, here's my one E99, which I got about 20 years ago from a David Festberg auction in SCD. I've added a picture of me holding it next to a quarter, a la Leon. Anybody else have a raw one?

The forgotten Abbott and Costello skit ----

C: Who's pitching for Portland tonight ??
A: Krapp.
C: I know you're not a Portland fan, but who's pitching?
A: Krapp.
C: He does have a good ERA.

--- never made it big.

McArdle not only has a "floating head" but his cap is also floating. Neat thread.

More than a few times I have ended up with a card based solely on a new observation. Had several people tell me the same thing when I was doing auctions. It's part of the fun in collecting.
