Default O/T For Mantle memorabilia lovers

If you're a huge Mantle memorabilia fan, then check out Leland's next auction (20NOV22 - 10DEC22).

"1972 Mantle Questionnaire"

This is just funny stuff... Call it Mantle, being Mantle. No wonder everybody loved the Mick.

I wish to apologize in advance for the following post.

During a 1995 news conference in Dallas to announce Mickey Mantle's successful liver transplant, the Hall of Famer spotted noted collector Barry Halper in the audience and joked, "Hey, Barry, did you get my other liver?"

With that in mind, I wonder if Barry Halper was collecting during the time of the activies described in the letter... when the young lady asked Mantle what she should do with the, uh, results of her... how can I put this... her, uh, interaction with "The Mick," perhaps the future Hall of Famer could have provided her with Halper's contact information.

Did anybody happen to see the final hammer on this piece:

SOLD FOR $242,788.80

The content is a bit risque, so if that bothers you don't open the link.

This was just some really funny stuff and I was a bit surprised by the final hammer.
