Fun card. It made me laugh, which was followed immediately by feeling like a dork.

If anyone has an extra one of these at a similar price let me know.

Hey Greg, was that a pickup from the Philly Show today? If so, saw it this morning and was debating about picking it up myself. Glad to hear a board member got it.

Hi DJ

Yes it was from the philly show. Had a couple of cards in mind and decided to go with this one. Been wanting to add one of these for a while.

Thanks!

Nice E120 grabs Sean.

I feel lucky to have spotted this Ruth late night shortly after it listed, then decided to roll the dice on a zero feedback seller. It arrived safe and sound, and it seems this seller's- "these were my grandpa's cards" story is fully legit. The stain is nowhere nearly as pronounced in person, but am curious if any have had success soaking E120s. I've never soaked a card, and probably won't try on this one, but still interested to know if any think I might be able to clean this one up a bit.

I know not as many people get jazzed about items like this (other than Leon & I )

This is the only example of a wrapper of Bishop's Chocolate that I have ever encountered that is correct to the 1910 period, there may be other examples out there but I have never seen any. This is exactly the right size for an E99, E100, and E221 (folded) to have been distributed in (scanned larger so you can see the writing). A few of the team cards say they were included in 5-cent packages of Bishop's Chocolate, Nut Bar, and Almond Bar.

Anyways, it isn't something you will likely see again for a good long while so I figured I'd share it...

Rhett:

The ancillary items to a card collection are very important supporting role players. All of my Old Judge non-card items help define the universe in which the cards existed at the time. So, as far as I am concerned your Bishop wrappers are awesome!

nice stuff mike...I love the trade card...no 3 balls and 2 strikes back then for a full count...and love the underhanded "call it where u want it pitched" style of pitching!

Slowly nibbling away at the remaining catchers in the T207 Brown Background set. Couldn't resist the portrait of Art Wilson looking towards the heavens.

My pickups from the last Philly Show and the start to a new set...needed something a little more mellow/common to look for while at shows.

A few of the team cards say they were included in 5-cent packages of Bishop's Chocolate, Nut Bar, and Almond Bar.
Thanks for showing this Rhett, it is very cool. How big is it? It doesn't look like it could hold an E221. E221s come with a fold down the middle. I have only seen 1 E221 that was folded multiple times, and that is currently in Leon's collection. I don't think we can know if that was folded at the factory or afterwards.

OK.

1. The postcards are trimmed.
2. The postcards are removed from an album.
3. I'm nuts.

It all evens out:

Got this from Goodwin, I thought great price (for a PSA in this), maybe just a fluke.
