Default Vintage St Louis Cardinal Player Die Cut--?

Can anyone name this St Louis baseball player on a 10" die cut thick cardboard standup? Also a catalog designation/value if listed? - Please see photo's--thanks in advance!

Based on its size, it could be from a George Burke Die-Cut... the type that was pasted to thick board and perched on a wood stand. It appears that your Bottomley example was perhaps peeled off the board, as you can see glue residue on its reverse.

Attached is an image of a similar DiMaggio piece in its entirety. Hope this is helpful.

Default Middy Bread promotion counter top display?

The owner bought the piece south of St Louis from a auction, so may I throw in my ideal on the item.

Might the standup be related to the Middy Bread card issue. I do understand the tab doesn't have a ID to Middy Bread, but would it be necessary standing on a store counter by the bread .

Please excuse this posting but the owner ask me to inquire, he may auction the item on Ebay or sell outright -- thanks again for any insights!

Could the piece be associated with the 1931 Metropolitan Studio set? It's the same image of Bottomley ...
