Default Need help on a 1952 Topps Mantle

I work at a private airport here in Sarasota and yesterday one of the owners gave a tip for taking care of his plane.
I have been reading about the differences since it happened yesterday. It seems to be the A Variation. Its either a very good reprint or real, but I've been told by everyone to post it here so here is some pictures.

Looks legit to me. Nice centering too. Get it graded by SGC or Beckett or PSA. Good for you! Keep us posted. Dave

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news; the borders on back are just far too thick. Compare the space above the red to this real one...

The wear on it looks natural, so if it is a reprint it is a very well done one. This is going to sound weird, but how does it smell?

It actually smells old that was one of the first things I did haha. Gonna be submitted to PSA just to make sure. Someone else mentioned the borders on the back of the card being too wide as well.

Definitely a fake Mantle, the aging is not appropriate the way the creases sit and surface not right. If you don't have one already, buy a ten dollar jewelers loop and take a look at the printing. You can pick out the fakes in an instant this way as they won't have half tone printing.

Just compare the borders to real ones; that's all you need to see, evidence-wise. Pretty clear cut.

Definitely bogus. The printing method is all wrong. The 52s were printed in half tone, and on the closeup shots you should start to see the pixels as the image breaks down into the three primaries (yellow, cyan, magenta).

That card has all the hallmarks of a modern inkjet type print method.

Also the centering for me is a dead giveaway. The '52 Topps Mantle is one of the worst centered cards out there. I very seldom have ever seen a truly centered one, even in high grade, and the ones that are centered can fetch 50 to 100 percent premiums over PSA SMR.

But the fake Mantles I've seen are almost always perfectly centered. So when I see a raw 52 Mantle that is perfectly centered like this one, it's a big red flag.

This is what stood out to me as being off. The creases look wrong. Hard to explain my concern other than saying that they all break the color too much.
