Tredway error - I once owned the card without knowing that he was potentially the first African American player. He was run out of Baltimore and compared to Shoeless Joe. Here's a quick reference

Default 1952 Bowman Paul Richards?

Anyone know the story of why Bowman made the Paul Richards card look like a caricature? Was this intentional?
