Default Photo used for A.C. Dietsche Ira Thomas Postcard

Posted By: Patrick McMenemy

An auction just ended on ebay for a small 5" X 7" photo which is the image used in the Ira Thomas A.C. Dietsche postcard. It had some damage and was pretty small, but interesting nonetheless.

Very cool. Do you think the photo was possibly used to make the PC? Do you own the photo, and if so, is there any stamping or writing on the back? We know the Ty Cobb outstretched pose was used on several issues. I wonder if this Thomas pose has any other cards/PC's associated with it? best regards

Leon:

I threw a weak bid at this auction last night partially due to the fact that the seller never returned my email regarding a question I had with the item. The photo also had corner damage and was quite a small photo at 5" x 7".

Here's the link to the auction:

The Thomas is from the 1908 set that is harder to find. Can't read the pitcher's name, can anyone else? Please post the name. Sorry I did not see the auction.
