Default Ever get a sorry you didn't win on a card you didn't bid on ?

I was just checking my email and got a sorry you didn't win notice on a
card I never bid on, so I went to my ebay account and it only shows a card
that I didn't win that I did bid on, but not the card I got the notice for. Has
this ever happened to anyone else?

Could you have made an offer on the card at some time and forgotten about it? If you make an offer on a card and that offer is not accepted, you will still receive an email from eBay when that card does sell saying that you did not win the item. Sometimes that can be several months later if the card sits in the seller's store for a while.

+1

This has happened to me. At first, I was stunned to receive the email and thought that my account was compromised. After some research, I remembered that I made an offer on the card that was rejected a few months earlier.

I could be wrong, but I believe I've gotten these in the past with BIN's on my watch list too, when they've sold after a price drop...
