The auction site will not load on my computer. That had better change soon or I will not be bidding.

Do Goodwin's auctions ever end? I figured it would be closed by now.

Those are some beautiful high lander cards!!! E 94 madness continues!!!! Those are some crazy prices some of the common cards ended at in low-grade condition... kind of makes the Wagner look like a bargain.

Lost the last Hofman I needed for the run. Bid my max at 4:30am EST and still got out bid.

Not a big fan of the auctions that drag out all hours of the night. There are some auction houses that run items on 30 minute individual timers. I like those better - either bid or get off the pot!

A new one for me. Placed what I thought were placeholder bids on these, forgot about the auction close yet woke up to an invoice on all three.

Guess I over-estimated value.

Won the E97 Hemphill with a really nice front and a little bit of paper loss on the back, for a great price. I was the underbidder on all 7 E97 blank backs, someone just wanted them a little more than I did. It's amazing that 2 years ago I won 10 of the E97 blank backs for an average of $125 each and these all sold for $400+ with the juice. Each time I was high bidder the winner quickly came back with a higher bid. I think it was just the two of us bidding. I guess someone is working on a set?

Was watching one item and ended up losing it but I wasn't that attached to begin with. T212-1 Eagan would of been nice but eh oh well

First auction I've actually bid in so trying to figure out exactly when it would end up closing was a bit nerve racking (yay insomnia)

I'm guessing they don't usually stay open that late

It was part of an almost complete back run, I've seen a few members request reverse slabs. neat.

I'm happy to have won the Gassler's American-Maid Bread Frank Baker card for my type-card collection. It looks nicer than a 1 to me - hope I still feel this way after the card arrives!

It was "my" thread in that I started it so I certainly don't mind. I always like seeing what folks won. A lot of us addicts like to show and tell and see others winnings.

I feel likewise, I've just noticed on my short time on here that there is usually both a closing thread and a winnings thread.
