Default 1920's Athletic Equipment

Picked up a 1920's catalogue of Athletic Equipment. Though I'd share a few pages. Interesting to see the construction of some of the uniforms and equipment of the period.

Rob M.

Only a couple of pages of baseball. Notice the asbestos layered catcher's mitt in the lower right corner. Also, can the 20's baseball experts name the three players (they aren't named in the catalogue).

It's hard to see without a better scan, but the player on the bottom right looks like Eddie Collins to me...

Cool stuff --

I think players two and three are Heinie Groh and Eddie Collins.

Default Executioners Football Helmet

One of the most desirable and valuable football helmets is the one on your football helmet page bottom right. It has a full leather mask for the face and is called "the executioner's helmet.
