Default 2 great baseball reference books

I've received two great books in the last two weeks - waited way too long to get both of them: Henry Yee's 'A Portrait of Baseball Photography' and Jay Miller and Joe Gonsowski's 'The Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin & Company'

I don't even collect Old Judge cards, but still now consider this book essential, if for no other reason than the fact that the N172's are real albumen photographs, so the book provides multiple images of every player from the late 1800's. The quality of the book is astounding.

I should have picked up Henry's book long ago - there are so few books written about vintage baseball photography that it should be a no-brainer to pick up the available ones, and this one has a great format, tons of information and is very well-produced. It's been a constant coffee shop companion for the last week. Thanks, Henry!
