Default Will eBay actually follow through?

Posted By: jay behrens

Was given this link last night. If true, things might actually get a bit better on eBay in regards to getting rid of scumbag Powersellers like Broadway Rick and Henry Yee and the likes. If eBay actually follows thru, they will either have to clean up their act or they are history. Only time will tell if eBay is serious about cleaning up the image of their PowerSellers.

Thanks for the head's up on the link and it should be interesting.

We all know about Broadway, what's the 'beef' with Yee? I have purchased from him and he has purchased from me and never saw a problem. He only does an auction quarterly it seems.

Thanks!

DJ

Henry, like Rick employs shill bidders and his auction descriptions are misleading, to put it kindly. Just check the recent threads about his current/recent auctions.

Thanks Jay! Just went back to some missed threads. Luckily I have never had issues with him and I'll take these notes into consideration and watch more carefully.

I have noticed that he has a Ruth photo that he seems to be auctioning off as an original, but the stamp on the back has a zip code on it.

“Report This Item” Link on View Item page – You told us that reporting questionable items was too difficult, so later this summer, every View Item page will have a "Report this Item" link at the bottom of the page. This feature has been live in Australia since May and has been received favorably by the Australian Community.

All ebayers can use this function through Australias ebay. When you have an ebay auction up just add ".au" after the .com in the auctions url and at the very bottom you will see the "report this item" link.
