will Steinbrenners tired old Bellamy Road blow another giant hole in the wind...

I think you have to go with King George's Equine. The Derby was a fluke. The nag was injured. You will probably get the version you saw at the Wood this time around.

I'm torn between Flower Alley and Roman Ruler for second. I am the invisible President of the Todd Pletcher fan club though and may have to root on Flower Alley even thought Roman beat him at Belmont.

I have to throw out the runner-up in the Belmont, Andromeda’s Hero. New rider, blinkers, new equipment. It's just me but I don't think the horse wants it.

I kind of fear Lost in the Fog a little.

DJ's Five Star Iron Lock!

1) Bellamy Road
2) Roman Ruler
3) Flower Alley

Sorry, no shockers. Too many good nags in such a small field.

I predict Lost In The Fog will beat Bellamy and Roman Ruler to the finish by at least 32 minutes.

Keep an eye on Henny Hughes..I was at ground zero last time this colt was sent out...one look at him in the paddock and I ran to the windows and emptied my pockets....the real deal, this one..but will be 1/5 this time round...will still be fun to watch.

then again...Ashado went down in flames today, against "weak" company.

Ramon Dominguez might be worth a few loose plays tomorrow.

...wonder what Green Lantern has to say
..

Dominguez doesn't have a mount, so I don't have an opinion.
I've seen Lost In The Fog several times and he's the real deal.

notice how all old vintage paintings portray horses running with at least one hoof on the ground at any given time...

..I'm told that until the advent of "modern" photography this was the supposition widely held.

...I'm pretty sure Henny Highes will be fully airborne for much of his stretch run.

nice card Rich,,do you have any Buchner Jockey cards?

I sure would pay a handsome exact for any nice ones out there....

I go to Monmouth Racetrack once in awhile, including the recent Haskell so i figure i can chime in on this.Heres my secret to picking horses

Check the program for about 10 minutes and pretend you know exactly what youre looking at then go up to the teller with a confident look on your face and pick the horse you thought best. Then go to your seat and as soon as the race starts yell "Get legs!" and "Put the whip to em!" and then when your horse loses yell "blasphemy" then tear up your tickets and say "easy come easy go".I do it every race and it worked everytime except that 1 time i won a trifecta,i dont know what went wrong that time.

Editors note: Sadly that above paragraph is a true story, not exaggerated at all

It's OVER! I love that Todd Pletcher!

1) Flower Alley
2) Bellamy Road
3. Roman Ruler

Had $5 Exacta (Box) so I should make a few bucks.

P.S Thought I would share some of my favorite Horse Racing cards in signed form! (sorry Leon)

Battling sinus problems so didn't get to see the race. Isn't Flower Alley the horse that was runnerup to Afleet Alex when they raced at Oaklawn Park in the Arkansas Derby?
