Only pre-war card I own is the W516-2-1 I bought raw in Cooperstown a couple years ago. I spent about $125 on it even though it's ripped up at the top. Luke Keeler was helpful enough to send it in to PSA for grading
The ticket I have pictured my dad got me when I was about 16. Ticket dates July 1, 1922. The White Sox won that game 7-3 Mr. Cobb went 1-4 with a walk and a strikeout against Red Faber. Also playing for the Sox were HOF'ers Harry Hooper, Ray Schalk Cocky Eddie Collins. A total of 5 HOF players took the field that day !!!! Alas the White Whales Cobb T206 have eluded me and been too rich for my blood Some day I will become triumphant and own at least one and then another day I'll own them all
