Default Christy Walsh telegram

Really cool item if real, but I'd be pretty concerned shelling out bucks for something that could be so easily duplicated.

One of the biggest scams in the US these days is the "for profit" non-profit. I briefly worked in a position where I had to do some basic research on the legitimacy of non-profits who were requesting to receive our grant money but quickly realized how much shady stuff goes on in the 501(c)3 world.

This one doesn't pass the smell test for me, I'd love to be proven wrong. You can download his IRS 990 forms online and judge for yourself.

My antenna goes up on these charities for the same reason. But last time I checked at least he doesn't seem to have any major feedback issues. (Not that I am buying this, just curious.)

Seen so much stuff in last year supposedly from The Wash estate.

Pretty cool piece. Here's another telegram regarding Babe Ruth's death. Here's a link to the site that has it. The site also has handwritten letters about "The Called Shot", and pages about every Hall of Famer with autographs and memorabilia. Hope you check it out.

The Gehrig/Stevens telegram reminded me of this letter from Ed Barrow that mentions them both. Here's a link to the Barrow letter on a pretty cool site.
