Don't be scared Jay I can offer my personal bodyguard services if you need them. As you can tell I’m in top physical shape and have an extensive arsenal of weapons and Rockband video game accessories. I also received my training under the Seals……Easter Seals to be exact but I’m pretty tough so I can keep ya safe.

Hey Novakovich, couldn't you have at least covered that girls face with a picture of Mr. Mint... or some other loveable hobby character...?

Its all very amusing ..but I think if the actual true story could be explained... who bought what..under what conditions, etc.., no..no..forget that..its more entertaining this way...no sense in letting the truth get in the way

This picture is one that has made its rounds, and will make me laugh for as long as I live. There is no situation where it can not be pulled out to assist in creating humor! It works on oh so many levels...this burly man is a jack of all trades.

I don't sign on for a couple hours and see 60 posts already, amazing. Seeing a grown man continually writing "LOL" is a little much.

This is fun drama. If it wakes up Wonk and others to make a few neat pics, then it's worth the drama... always good to see a good train wreck every once in a while (especially if there's fun pics involved).

I think the above, along with a scary clown picture, would make a great business card for Jizmo. But I'm still un-friending him.

Not me. I'm scared of clowns, particularly sad clowns. I am even more scared of sad clowns who call others ass-clowns. Don't think I'll be bidding on anything soon.

Agreed. I am in between True Detective and Game of Thrones, and in need of a fix. This is just what the doctor ordered!

As an aside, let me say that Sean is, in my personal opinion, one of the good guys on the forum. I've enjoyed his commentary on Net 54, and hope that his business venture as a dealer continues to be a great success. Though I have not yet done business with him, I would not hesitate for a second to do so. He also went out of his way to offer me assistance in searching for a new scanner. His help came unsolicited, and was greatly appreciated. He has been an active, positive contributor on our forum, thusly, he has earned a little leeway when speaking out. His name is clearly provided in his posts, and Leon and the moderators have seen fit to allow him to speak without censorship.

As for this other person,

You come across as quite sad. Oh, I don't know if his posts on our forum have quite yet sunken to the level of having family members come to sing your praises like on Youtube (perhaps we can anticipate their imminent arrival here? Oh, please say they're coming! Oh please please please...unless those were alternate accounts the Dick-meister concocted in order to sing his own praises). But Gizmossportscards, regardless of the reputation you've earned as a dealer, one which I am not at all familiar with (have at that sentence-fragment, grammar Nazis! ), your incoherent ramblings and unsubstantiated claims here have dropped my opinion of you as low as it could possibly be. If you have a legitimate beef with Sean, there are ways to go about seeking restitution. But signing up on Net 54 and immediately morphing into "snotty-teenager mode" is not the way to do it. Thus far you have portrayed yourself as an uneducated, vindictive, arrogant twit, and I don't exactly know what it is you hope to accomplish here. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody, is going to take up your cause, or come to your defense. All you can hope to accomplish now is to elevate your narcissistic diatribe to exist in the pantheon of Net 54's great topics, such as "Bruce Dorskind suing the archive", or "the nun's Wagner".

I don't understand the thinking that one member has more "Leeway" to speak out than any other. It seems all members should have the same freedoms as others. Maybe you could make a list of the upper echelon members so us low level guys know who not to question.

I have never met Sean but the last two years he has organized the Secret Santa promotion on these boards. To me, those are some of the best times in the hobby as I get to open packages and send them out with nothing expected in return either way.

Rick. I have met you, You are a good family man; I know you mean well in most of what you do, but please tone this down otherwise we will have the best hobby feud since Al Rosen and his Court versus the three Stooges and more in the 1989 SCD Pages.

Regards
Rich

Not to take this thread irreparably off topic, but this one sounds fairly interesting. I would get SCD back then but must have been too busy being being a high school senior to know what this little tidbit is all about.

Do tell.

Jason, I think anybody who has been a member of the forum for some time has leeway to speak their mind within the few rules set forth. But somebody immediately signing up, and going into attack mode, is different.

I could be wrong, of course, but that's just my way of looking at it.

Bill, I agree if someone signs up today and goes into attack mode for no reason that is different. But if they have been called out regardless whether they have been here since day one or for one day they have the right to speak out against there accuser. That doesn't mean I agree with the method of responding that was done by the OP, because I don't. I have no opinion either way on this little spat between the two. And im not just referring to this thread its just a general attitude I have seen come out on this Forum in the past few months.

Wonka, you're killing me. I thought the earlier stuff was over the top, but going old school with Ace and Gary the "Ambiguously Gay duo" reference is too much.
