Default George Gibson and Paddy O'Connor

Just won this from Paddy O'Connor's estate. The picture was taken at the same time and location as the one below of the starting Pittsburg catcher, George Gibson. They even seem to be wearing the same equipment. Posted another cabinet on the memorabilia page, that shows Gibson and O'Connor together (not in gear). Perhaps there's an entire set's worth of these for the '09 Pirates?

That is very cool. The masks seem to be the same for sure. I love to see the Pittsburg uniforms from that year with the patch on their left sleeve. The photos are nice.

I'm pretty certain these were both taken at Whittington Park in Hot Springs, AR. Here's the team photo taken at the same location that year:http://www.flickr.com/photos/arkbase...57634127305521

great pics and interesting idea about the possible 'parade' of '09 Pirates.
I sure hope so. I'm eager to see how it all fleshes out.
all the best,

What a timely thread - I just started listing baseball cabinet photos on ebay, including a Paddy O'Connor from his estate, which sold yesterday.

The O'Connor estate was a treasure trove of early Pirates-related photos, including a bunch of minor league team photos. I have a couple of four-player cabinet photos - no HOF'ers - and saw another that included Clarke and possibly Wagner (my memory fails me), that appeared to be from the same photo shoot, at the 2013 National. So perhaps more will slowly trickle in.
