Jonathan, Love your Smith and Tinker. Their beautiful colors and extra sharp picture registry make these both dazzling. The centering freaks will have nothing bad to say about them, either. Good selective eye, if I may say. Nice going, bro. You should be thrilled! ---Brian Powell

Very nice!

I just wish we had a thread specifically for new purchases...that would be good, huh?

Sorry guys, I did it form my phone and clearly wasn't thinking.
I'll ask Leon to move it to the July pickup thread where it should have been from the beginning.

So here is my take on this thread. I saw it go up immediately. I didn't say anything as I think there is goodness in seeing the joy of collecting. The OP is new and didn't know better so why not let a thread go without having to set a precedent for renegade threads? I hope we can think and use our brains on this board about what is right and what is wrong without having hard rules and issues? I got it guys.
Now if someone wants to go start a thread and say
"well he did it" then I will say but that was an exception. That is all. And for the record, those are 2 fantastic looking T206s. I would be proud of them too. Happy collecting and carry on.

Great call Leon. And great cards, Jonathan.

I admit, this is the first time I've taken notice of a T206 with two teams mentioned? Is this is the only one in the set? Was it because he was traded? Forgive me if these go in the stupid question thread started by Frank, but I'm relatively new to collecting the set. Any background is much appreciated.

Would be cool to have one traffic cop here and not 20 or 30.

I've started my own thread a couple of times when I've been very excited about a pick up, or finishing a project. As long as you're not doing it with every card you buy I don't see a problem. Congratulations on the new additions.

Well, at least tell us you sent it via your phone while you were driving.

I mean, come on...let's make it exciting for the rest of us.

...and they are really nice cards...and Leon is right not to discipline you.

I was just going for humor anyway...ask around...I do that a lot.

Totally doing it while driving!

I didn't take any offence, I just completely realize that I should have added it to the July pickups. All good and lesson learned.

And thanks for all the nice comments!

I don't make the rules around here, but I agree, but I can also understand Leon's request to not start a new thread every time someone purchases a new card.

I thought about it for the Elvis cards I just purchased for my wife, but thankfully I came to my senses when I realized likely 5% of the members here wouldn't enjoy them all that much?
