Default T206 Latham Auction on eBay this evening

Posted By: T206Collector

Okay, so it's an SGC 50, and the card has a big water stain across the front. Why is this card $78.00? I thought $60 would be the top for this one...

With the water damage, I would not even give $50 for this card, more like $40 or so....Someone really wanted the card!

I know the winner of this auction, he is a very reputable dealer from the Cincinnati area. He must of had a buyer on it already. I did pick up my 1st two 1932 U.S. Caramels from the same seller.

ok guys, i'm back...glad to see we are once again talking about baseball cards...

anyway, i have found that our buddy Latham commands a slight premium...not sure why, but he does go for more usually.

Latham is a pretty difficult common.

Also, his 739 career stolen bases ranks eighth all-time.

Lathan is one of the few people in the Old Judge and t206 set. Maybe that accounts for some of his popularity.

I guess my SGC 70 card of Latham is on the rise!

...as others have pointed out, he resembles a young Robert Redford in his T206 image.
