A VERY bright and colorful Obak.

Doesn't hurt that his name is one letter away from mine Kusel vs. K.

Bob, I added the back scan. It is the rarer back. Was $34 a good buy even with the damage? I'm not too knowledgable about this set yet.

Bill, flip the card over and look at the back. Kusel and one other (brain freeze) are the only 2 cards in the Obak series which carry the rare back, so there is a good chance you have it.

A few T206 HOFer's that had a decent BIN, an really nice Zeenut, and an E96 Pfeister from Bill Kasel. Really nice looking card. Has that green-blue fade like the Jennings portrait.

Bill- I think it was a very nice pickup. At this time, collectors haven't really gotten in to the backs on the Obak cards (except a handful of die-hard Obak collectors) but with the growing popularity of the sets among collectors, I think that in time it will definitely increase in value. The card itself is a tough one even without the rare back.

Picked this up in November, but haven't had a chance to post.

Better condition than scan shows, some of the dark spot on the card are shadows from the scanner and not stains. A hard 1914 Cracker jack to find in this nice a shape.

Thanks, Steve. But I have to admit, the way it was printed makes him look like he just got beaned.

Apparently, the Boston Store didn't have any baseball books, so this had to suffice

Nice acquisitions, Joe. Looks like Cobb just launched a BP bullet and teammate Heilmann is chasing it.

Ray: I collected #'s 1-96 of this very cool set but had no luck scoring 97-108. Eventually moved on to other cardboard pursuits. I have dupes of 30 Manush, 55 Cuccinello, 67 Owens, 70 Trosky, 86 Crosetti, 87 ONeill, 90 Hayworth. Let me know via e-mail if I can help you out with any of these. I also have an extra DS wrapper.

OK, I already posted this once, but that was at auction end with just the front view. I just got it, via UPS, today and thought it was worth another post.

I don't often pick up T206 cards, but this has always been one of my favorite images. It kind of reminds me of Christmas with all the green and red.
