Default T206 Sovereign Forrest VS Lime Green Backs

Can someone post a Forrest and a Lime green back so I can know the difference?

A forest would be dark green...right?

I think I have a lime, and I'm trying to collect all backs of a specific player and need a little guidance.

Thanks.

-Jimmy

Jimmy, who's the player? He should only be available in one shade of green or the other, but not both.

Never mind, I just found your BST thread on Lavender.

Here you to go............

..................apple green backs

..................forest green back

If Lavender is the specific player you are collecting, he was printed with the forest green Sovereign 350 back.

Yeah, it is Jimmy Lavender.
I picked up a 'apple green" back. I figured the forrest would be a darker shade.

Thanks for the information everyone.

Jimmy

Just to clarify....Lavender was NOT printed with an "apple green" back.

If your Lavender's back doesn't look like the forest green back that I show in Post #4, then it has faded with age.

Well, not wanting to argue about it, but look at this:

Granted, not it great shape. But is this a faded forest green?

Doesn't really look faded to me, but a normal forest green Sovereign.

Thanks. I need to get one of some player. Mine looks "lime", so I want real one to know the difference.

Great website that shares knowledge.

+1

An apple green is much lighter. You might need to see them side by side.

Pat, thank you for that. That is what I needed to see. Thank you for going the extra mile.

The one that Ted posted looked darker to me. Thanks to all for the education.
