Default Opinions on T-205 Cobb

I would appreciate any opinions on this T-205 Cobb. Seller is selling as a reprint, but it looks okay to me. If anyone can tell me the tip off, I would appreciate it. Thanks for everyone's time.

Damian

Even though the picture is an authentic card, if the seller says its a reprint, then you will probably just get a copy of the card.

Very good point. Didn't consider. But you think the picture is a real T205 Cobb eh? I could get him to send me a picture with newspaper etc. to be sure.

The bottom line is that if anyone indicates that they are selling the card as a reprint or that they have to sell the card as a reprint then TAKE THEM AT THEIR WORD. Do you really want to hassle with this. If they tell you it's a reprint and you think it's real and find out it's not then you're going to be rightfully STUCK with the card with no reason for the seller to provide a refund.

The scan looks real enough to me, but cravat emptor. I would not buy a card this expensive ungraded, IMO.

When a seller is selling as a reprint, believe them.

With a possible reprint its very helpful to look at the back of the card IMO. If you cant look at the printing of the front under a stong loop, the text (which most of is found on the back) is a very helpful way of distinguishing fake from real.

believe the seller when he tells u "i'm selling it as a reprint". it looks like a real t205 cobb, he could take a picture of it with tomorrow's new york post...but you will get a reprint, or an epson copy, or a photoshop printout! just like the reprint e121 ruth that someone binned for $130, nice find!
