Default Joe Doyle t206. PSA error or something else?

Honest PSA error or some type of fabrication? Was on eBay last week, starting bid of $100, ended today with no-one bidding on it. The owner claims it was a PSA mislabel. I find it hard to believe PSA would mislabel a Joe Doyle card.

To me, something doesn't look right in that picture. Maybe I'm just overly skeptical...

Thoughts?

It would be hard to believe that they would mislabel them regularly, but it's pretty easy for me to believe they've made this mistake at least once when we know they labelled Heinie Wagner as Honus Wagner at least once.

Kind of throws a wrench into the theory that more expensive cards are more scrutinized eh?

Neither the card nor the flip has anything to do with the Joe Doyle Nat'l error as the flip says Larry Doyle, not Joe, and is really meant for this card:

And the case is closed! Haha. I never looked at the name. Just the description. That’s pretty funny.

My thought as well. Guess I should have bought it at $100!

It is the even more rare Larry Doyle mental variation.

If you send it back to PSA, they will reholder if for free and correct their many errors.
